  • The health and wellbeing of the cows is a priority and taking care of their health is done using holistic, preventative practices
  • No antibiotics, growth hormones, GMOs or pesticides

Nutritional

Difference

Dairy cows under organic management eat more grass than those under conventional management. That difference in their diet results in more nutrient rich milk. It has been found that choosing organic milk is an easy way to avoid pesticides, antibiotics and synthetic growth hormones residue. When removing the nasties from our milk, studies continue to repeatedly show that organic milk has a healthier nutritional profile. It has been found that Organic milk contains more of the good omega 3 fatty acids, more antioxidants than conventional milk.

Environmental

Impact

Organic foods promote healthier and more sustainable use of natural resources. Organic farming reduces the damage to the environment, cutting out harmful chemicals and opting for manual or natural solutions to farming problems such as weed and pest control. Organic farmers also endeavour to work in harmony with existing ecosystems, including conserving water, soil and energy, and using renewable resources and natural farming cycles.
